I currently own a 97 sx700, I am thinking of putting on a 141 or a 144, heres the problem, if I long track it my sled will still have 9in of travel, or will this change? should I go with a 2000 or newer suspension, or rail extensions, and will the 2000 mountain suspension bolt up in the stock holes, I would think they wouldn't, so where do I locate them, how about the tunnel, I think that should be replaced too, but now we are looking at some real money for the whole kit, my 97 is in great shape and I really like it, I have been thinking of this for 2 years and still don't know what to do. I will be adding a 2in track so I know I will have to changs to 8 tooth drivers (extroverts), my gearing will change also but I can handle that,I thought I would ask here, as you guys/gals know what works, or what works for my typr of sled, can anyone help me get over the hump, of trying to figure out what to do?

look at the hartman kit for that application. did a 121-141 on a 97 sx 600. kit works well and changes the geometry to the 2000 approach angle. does not increase travel, but fit and finish is unbelievable. well worth the money!
