I put on a 1'' hacksaw predrilled for studs # 9009H144 on my 02 Viper. I had to trim the lugs just a little bit, (1/8" or less) only where the track contacted the front heat exchanger guards. Install the track, rotate it around by hand and mark it where it rubs the front heat exchanger guards. Trim off only enough so that you can rotate the track easily by hand. It will wear in from there. I used a flat ended Channelock fence cutter, worked great! I am running Woody's #GDP6-1075, 1.075 Gold Diggers. ( overall height 1.485) with square double digger aluminum support plates.Fits nice without having to run 8 tooth drivers. I ran a non studded 1 1/4'' Ripsaw last year without heat exchager guards. It did hook up better on snow than the hacksaw, but I did notice it made noise, and the longer lugs showed wear much faster than I anticipated. I really like my studded hacksaw, especially on icy corners! 96 double studs down the middle, with an option of going 144 by adding singles down the middle between the doubles. If you are going to stud, go with the hacksaw!
