Are the radius rods on the SRX the same length as the viper rods? Anybody have any experience with putting viper shocks on the front of an SRX?

My plan was to cut off the clevis end and weld on a new "eye" style end so that it can drop right in to the existing mount. I was hoping that this would work as is..... but.....Do I need radius rods from a viper for this? Trailing arm? Will the geometry be all f'ed up?

Thanks... :die:

Do a search on this subject, it's been covered extensively. You can make it work, and I believe the easiest way is to "borrow" a bunch of front end parts off a venture. Your idea with welding a new end on the viper shocks should work, thats how I got RX-1 shocks on my SRX.

i have a complete crome wide front end for sale, 525 shipped, everything you need to make your sled wider, cromer, and taller. i also have some viper shocks for sale too. check my posts
