just got my sled back from the shop, bender triple pipe kit, and changed top gear. Wow what a difference from stock, can really feel those extra hp, should have done it long ago. Its a little expensive but its worth it.

The slp pipes is 3 pipes into one silencer...but the bender pipes is 3 pipes into 3 silencers...and the slp pipes sound really bad so i was thinking of putting the bender pipes so i want to know if they sound good and if they are loud?

sounds great, not obnoxiously loud, just the nice tiple roar only better, and at idle it is not much louder than stock. three pipes and three silencers for the benders not sure what other pipes have.

Opinion on Pipes?!

I spoke with performance shop and they suggested leaving the stock pipes )02 SRX) in as they are the best. Thoughts?

I would like to cut weight and add hps; I already did a roller secondary and helix; and thought I might get rid of the stock pipes. I want reliability (and therfore stock would be best) but it just seems to easy a mod to pass up.

thoughts from anyone would be appreciated.

I have the Bender 3 in to 3's and love them. Have about 1500 Miles on them now, with no probs. I love the sound...not loud just a good throaty sound. Hey mbviperboy be sure to, if you haven't already put some reeds in it...it makes a hell if a difference with throttle response, especially with the mods. So what exactly did you do? Clutch, rear heat exchanger with Optiflow gasket? I'm getting the Head Mod done this summer.

leave the stock pipes on, its very little gain in changing pipes on srx.. not worth it..

are the triple pipes louder than the bender silencer?

I would say they are probably slightly louder, but more of just a different tone than the silencer. And the horsepower comparison is out of this world. ;)!

still trying to get the clutching dialed in, turns out i didn't have the whole clutch kit, now i have everything bender recomends, new outer rivets with added washers, and orange red spring with spacer for primary , helix and white blue spring for secondary.
i put in rear heat exchanger, opticool headgasket, air box mod with out removing shelves, and new jetting.

pulls hard on trail having some bogging issues in deep powder, i just got the clutch kit parts i was missing from bender, will have them in tommorow hopefully that will solve my powder issues.

does anyone else have 2 washers added to thier outer rivets, thats what bender sent me to install?
