Thanks for your advice on the pv servio moters failing on the 98 srxs was spot on and after changing it out it is back to its old self.Do you think i could get away with only changing out rings to freshin the moter up as it is getting very easy to pull over and is reaching close to 20000 klm un touched.tx again len
Your welcome. I would say its due, you might want to check the pistons as well, they may need to be replaced too, if the rings are let go for too long, it wears the skirt on the pistons from rocking back and forth in the bore. freshen it up and youll think it has 10hp more again.....
