The is a SRX like heat x-changer you can buy from yamaha or a yami perf dealer, but I reccomend the U-shaped one because it is larger and lays flat in the back of the tunnel and thus has greater cooling capacity.
U-shaped x-changers are available at Hartman and www.maxxperf.com/

Rear heat exchanger. I used the one from Bender Racing which has worked great for 3500 miles. It's the same as the one used on the SRX. Also consider their Opticool head gasket, which optimizes the water flow through the cylinders. Both are easy installs.

the tunnel u coolers may not work in a short track with studs, no way to protect them. but they are the only way to go for a studless longtrack project. lot better position to recieve snow to optimize cooling. the only company i know that makes them is mountain performance and sometimes you have to twist their arms to get them made. MPI doesnt list them in their website except under the tunnel kits, so you have to call and ask for and about them.
