which should be faster both basically stock. Or are they the same.Just curious. Took my first trip to canada and stayed at the something Benedic Arnold. Canadian trails kick asssss!

'01 will be faster to stock to stock. Has about 6 more horse than the 98-99's, better weight transfer, better ignition. Slightly lower gearing for better holeshot.

The funny thing is that I smoke him out of the hole but he slowly creeps up to me and then by me, then he plateaus and we stay the same distance apart. As you can probably guess im getting ever so slightly beaten by my cousins '01 . Considering I outweigh him by 75lbs im not that conserned but at the same time it pisses me right off. On a side note i cant believe what a difference back pressure can make. I had my center cylinder manifold with a small exhaust leak cause the lead gasket was worn out. I bought a new one from the dealer along with two new springs and it made a huge difference. Before the gasket swap i was so sleepy it isnt funny but as soon as i changed it he and I had a pretty good race going on. With no lake to peak out on im not completely sure he would win but for now he had me by a little bit. Just went to the dealer yesterday and bought www primary 4.5 inner and outer. with 51/43 helix that im gonna get from nicksxr most likely. Ive also been running without one of the small gaskets that go into the silencer. That alone is is making a huge difference in it self im sure. Pretty rediculous i paid 33bucks for the big gasket and 22 for the small one, but you gotta have it.

I think my sleds pretty damn sturdy then. With all odds against her he barely gets by me and its very close all the way. I vipered, weigh 233 lbs was missing a gasket for the silencer, and have an older sled. I guess I'm pretty proud of the old girl. Im not sure if there is already a clutch kit on it though the primary spring is a solid red and my helix looks like it 51/47.
