undefinedAll you SRX owners. I have a 2000 srx with 5800 original miles on it. This past weekend when I was doing my usual once over before riding I noticed that the pipe area around the clutch side got really hot and seared the headlight and guage pod wire cover. It also left a black residue on the heat shield under the pipes as well as melted part of the belly pan close to the shock mount on the clutch side. I did not see anything else wrong and I kept a close eye on the sled. It ran fine for over 100 miles and no more signs of getting hot? Any ideas? Could it have been some fuel leaking out the pipe burning off real quick or do I have something else going on. The sled hits max rpms and speed without issue? With the srx should you be running a hotter plug on the clutch side cylinder? Thx
