Higgins Lake Staging Area ????

Anybody know what that exit number is ?? is it the first or second higgins lake exit ???

I believe it's the first, because we normally get off at the second which is the Military Rd./Higgins lake exit and I don't recall ever seeing a staging area around that area.

military road exit has a small parking area at a trail head. 27 north to military rd, left (west) at end of ramp go over highway till road T's. go right (north) towards grayling, on left there is a parking area. ski

Yes there's a small sandy lot there, but it is not a designated staging area. There aren't even any signs posted.

The staging area is at the first exit, West Higgins Lake Rd.
