rip saw srx ?

Putting one on my sled this weekend. I don't think there are many out there who have run them, so it will be hard to get any user feedback.

RIPSAW

reaper ran one from mid season last year and said he loved it ;)! . i just bought it off of him for my sxr cause hes long trackin his srx. but there where posts on this subject all winter on both totally yammaha and yamaha info and the camoplast of any kind seems to be everyones reccomendation :yam: . i watched all of em all winter and nothing negative was said about them. everyone seems to agree that the camoplast tracks are worth the time and $$ to put in wheather its the ripsaw or the preadator :D:DP . you just have to pick the right one for your riding style. oh and reaper loved it so much he ordered the same track for the long track (ripsaw).

just my $.02

Maim's right, i only got about 1000km on my Ripsaw before the end of the season but i really liked it, for northern Ontario where studs are really not needed(my opinion) the ripsaw gave great holshots and awsome corner to corner handling, i ran against all kinds of sleds studded/non studded and most comments on my sled was how great it hooked up on hardpack... i can't wait for this winter to see how an 136" works on my SRX..........Reaper

Ripsaw

All, I am also putting a ripsaw on my 99 srx 700. I plan on keeping my sled a couple more years and had 8000km on the stock track with 144 pics. I ran against a 01 srx last year and could not come close out the hole! I could not beleave the hole shot with that track! I read many posts last year about the quality of the ripsaw ( no pics required) and I guess I will find out for myself !!!!!!! Enjoy AKA Bluebullet

Also, I'll let you know on the installation without removing any of the protectors. I'm keeping them in. If I have to run it a bit to wear those particular spots in, I will. Or I'll just shave the specific areas where they would contact the protectors. Either way, they're stay'n.
