can anyone help me out on how to govern the speed on a sno scoot?

We had a couple of SnoScoots for the kids. It was an intermediate step between the KittyKat and the Bravos. Frankly, those machines didn't work out very well as a kid's sled, IMHO. They're kind of bouncy and harder to control than, say, a Bravo. I had to keep pulling my daughter out of the ditch when we'd putt down the railroad grade, and crossing any bumpy snow would occasionally pitch them off. And they're damn cold without the windshield kit.01&02SRX said:can anyone help me out on how to govern the speed on a sno scoot?
As to your question, I started out by taping a wooden shim to the grip under the throttle lever. That worked OK, but later I drilled a hole in the throttle lever and threaded it for an adjustable bolt which likewise limited how far the throttle could be engaged. That type of throttle limiter works fine for any snow machine with a torque-sensing clutch, in my experience.
