Just wondering if people are using Yama-Lube in their vipers or srx's with power valves! If not what are you using instead?

I see you are Canadian. Go to a Co-op bulk dealr & buy the new Co-op XLS synthetic 2 stroke oil. I got some on sale in Manitoba last fall for $22 for 4 liter jug. My powervalves were like new after 1200 miles. No deposits on the powervalves at all!!!!

oil
from a 1000 km on i have used AMSOIL.Iclean my valves once a season and they are just starting to get gummed up that after 4000km.You just have to find a brand that you like and that is eazy to get and go from there.I know from my own experiance that AMSOIL does a great job.I redid my top end after 10000KM and there was no scoring on the pistons and that was good enough for me.
Just my 5 cents worth.

Thanks for the feed back!
Thanks for the feed back. I normally run OEM synthetic oil in my sleds. I'am a first time Yamaha snowmobile owner and as you are aware yamaha doesn't have Synthetic 2 stroke oil. The sled has 4000km on it now or 2500 miles. I haven't checked the power valves yet, but they seem to be working fine. Maybe I will just continue using the regular 2 stroke Yamaha oil. Cheap and seems to be doing the job :-)
