I was studding my track tonight and I noticed about five lugs missing off of the right side outside row on my track - It's a predator track - only missing on the one side - I wonder if I can make this a warranty issue with my dealer - I have warranty until 2009. I would think if it was the way I drive, the lugs would have been missing all over the track and not just on one side.

no i dont think so be cause you could have hit something with just that 1 side. unless your dealer really likes you & wants to stick it to yamaha.then maybe but i dout it.

something like that they will not cover under warranty, actually a track is very hard to get covered under warranty. Its most likely from either becoming slightly airborne and the track spinning, only to land on a stump or something hard and abruptly stopping the track spin, not very hard to do when your "gettin it" on a trail thru the woods! If its just a few lugs and it hasnt ripped the cords inside, run it, it wont hurt anything.

It depends how much the dealer likes you and wants to keep your business. I just went through this with the yokoload track on my MM700. I know guys who got it covered 100% by their dealer and some who were told to go fly a kite.
