Well guys It was one very sad day at my house..I was working on my 02 srx, when I smelled gas, I looked and saw gas running down my trailer and onto the garage floor, and by the time I noticed it, the heater in the garage kicked on and burned my favorite sled of all time to the ground...Thank god it was on the trailer and I was able to pull it out of the garage. This was a mint 02 srx, 2000 miles, ported, this sled never even stayed outdoors, it was alwasy in the gagrage when not in use...I am going to miss her.........I just wanted to take a few mins to thank eveyone who was very helpfull to me in here..Thanks again for answering the questions I had about srx's....I am not sure what I what to buy for a sled yet..I will think about that later.......I will post pics

if you have insurance, killerklown has a very nice 02 srx for sale in wisconsin. you can get another sled just like it. hell i think it would even be worth a weekend trip leave friday and back sunday. who did the port work? list in the classifieds to part it out if some parts are still salvageable. youll get another. i got another 02 SRX when i crashed my first 02. Sleds are easily replaced.

wow.sorry about your sled. where did the gas come from? knock over a gas can or something?
 
I do have full insurance!..The only thing I can think of is when I had the sled on its side gas leaked from a carb vent or something, not really sure....The motor might be ok, Bender did the porting, the cylinders look ok, I will find out after the insurance company come wensday and looks at it...I will post the pics soon.....
 
That is sooo sad man.....I definitely don't feel so bad about beating up my trailing arm last weekend after hearing that.....good luck...
