when i bought my used srx the sled had a stinger exhaust on i beleive hauck the last owner also gave me the stock can. when i had it in the shop they told me i had stock jetting so i removed the stinger and put on the stock for fear of a too lean condition. now i now that with 2 strokes lean=mean. yesterday i payded close attetion to an srx going by and noiced it was a lot quieter than mine. so i'm assuming my can has been altered. do i need to richen out my sled to avoid damage and can i run the tinger can without changing the jetting. and if so does someone have a baseline jetting to start from. thanks lary

It has been my own personal experience that a stinger wont require rejetting.None that I have seen have ever come with those sorts of adjustments needing to be made.

You dont need different jetting to run an aftermarket can on a srx, viper, or sx. If you add pipes, that is a much different story. Aftermarket can wont gain you anything but weight savings and nicer tone. Most actually lose a little power.
