Has anyone tried Dyna Slides. They are suppose to have a higher melting point then tradational slides. They also have a groove pattern that is machined into the slides, that traps snow for cooling purposes and allows dirt to pass through at the ends of the slides. They report there sliders will eliminate the slides from sticking to the track clips, especially after speed runs on the lake?
I could just take a regular slide and drill holes in it, but apparantly if dirt get's stuck in the holes, it will wear the track clips out pretty quick?
Are they worth $67 dollars american plus shipping. Also come with a one year warranty.

make your own out of oem or garland (which makes most of the oem slides) you can router grooves, drill holes ect. there is an article on the tech pages how to do this. it is not worth the extra cash for "better" slides in my opinion. ski

Dyna Slides
I think I will just make my own set then. 1/4 of the price that way. I guess I can carefully use a die grinder and slot them carefully in a s pattern all the way down the slide. I'm afraid if I drill holes gravel and stones will get stuck in them and result in rapid track clip wear.

sliders
I don't know about there sliders for the viper but i do know that the don't make them for the srx.because they warrenty there slides for the season not to ware out.Ive drilled my sliders before like in the tech section never had any problems but i think next time i will router groves in because i think that by drilling the round holes in the slide causes excess track clip ware

I used a router table and made two 1/4"grooves in each slide. It really didn't make a difference in my situation. A two inch paddle track is hard on slides. I run ice scratchers now and that really helps more than anything else. Just make sure you stay away from Mountain Performance's stainless scratchers. They are total junk. I broke three sets in one year and they won't warranty anything. Get scratchers from Holz.
