Going through a 98 moded mountain SRX. The cooling tube that draws coolant from each head leads to a hose that is attached to the filler cap. The stock fitting has been replaced with a plate that has a 90 degree fitting welded to it. Does anyone know why this modification was done? The fitting was not made with tender care. Does anyone manufacture one?
