Something strange happened yesterday when I was driving my piped viper. At full throttle the engine suddenly cut. It was like turning of the ignition but it didnt stop. It happened 3 times (all times at full throttle) and first I tought that I'v burned piston but I have checked that and all 3 are fine (visual through exhaust outlet) and comp are as it should be. I did also check the plugs color when it happened and it was fine. Anyone experienced something like this, if yes what can be the reason for this happening?

Sounds like the TORS is kicking in... try disconnecting it and see if the problem goes away. Did you put a handlebar riser or anythign on recently?

sounds more to me like a bad spark plug cap. Usually the TORS doesn't kick in when you have it clamped, its when you quickly stab the throttle that you can get that acting up if your throttle cable is too tight.

Dont have a handlebar riser and havent done anything since last time i used it and everything was ok then... Know about the tors and earlier I have had problems with it on other sleds (exiter 570 and wmax 800) but never experienced problems with it on my viper. Comp was 120psi on cyl nr1 and aprox 140 on number 2 and 3 and I think it is like it should be. Shall check my spark plug caps tomorrow.

Check your power valves...how many miles you have on it? It was told to me that you need to adjust/clean them and replace the springs after max. 3K miles. just something to check.

only have 2000 miles on it and I have just cleaned them and shecked valve adjustment and it looked ok.
