Just picked up a 95 Phazer II Mountain sled, but I've got some ignition issues. I've got no spark. I have a brand new external coil. What kind of voltage should I be able to generate going into the coil when I pull it over? My test light lights up when I get a good pull on it, but nothing on the other side of the coil. I was going to hook my volt meter on, but I don't know what a good number is going into the coil. Any help would be great!

More info- I have unplugged the wires from the stator and tested for continuity with an ohm meter. There is a plug with 2 wires, brown and white w/red and a 4 prong plug with a yellow, yellow w/ black, blue, and another I can't remember. When I test I get a complete circuit between every one of the wires. I assume that means my stator is shot?
Thanks,

Never mind, I guess you should double check the simple things first. I get a spark if I take my spark plug boots off and connect the wire straight to the plug end. Go figure. Off to pick up a new set, hope that I'm right.

Usually you can clip a little off the wire to expose some new wire. Make sure they're screwed on nice and tight.
