I have a 96 phazer in the garage and i need to set the oil pump and don't know what the setting should be on the oil cable. Any help on this matter I'd appreciate it.

At the cable bracket on the RH side of the carbs, pull the rubber boot up along the cable and then pull on the outer sheath until it won't move anymore. Should be somewhere between .83-.91. Smaller is richer, obviously bigger is leaner. I run mine about in the middle. To make a measuring gauge, I take a piece of stiff/thin paper (thin cardboard) and mark the high/low on it and hold one end against the ferrel and pull the sheath up and it should fall somewhere in between your marks.
