I have two sleds in the garage that I need to get rid of. I don't want to give them away and I don't really want to part them out, but just don't know what someone would be willing to pay.

The first sled that I have is a 1999 SRX700 with a little over 20k miles (yes, that is 20,000) it has not been pampered by any means, my father-in-law rode it hard, there are some torn spots in the seat (from saddle bags), there are some scratches in the hood, but it still runs good, my mother-in-law rode it this year. For the most part it is stock, what kind of value do you think it might have?

The second sled that I have is a 1999 Venture 700 2up, it has just over 4k miles and was mostly ridden by my mother-in-law. KBB states that it might be worth $2500, what do you guys think? Is there really a market for 2up sleds anymore?

My Father-in-law got a new sled this year and my mother-in-law is getting a new sled next year. We're trying to clean out the garage to make room for the new sleds.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

im not really sure on what there worth but i havnt seen a 99 with even less miles(4k) go for $2500.but the srx im guessing around 1500-1800$$ but it was a bad season & the wrong time of year to sell sleds.

what major replacments have been done? got a buddy with a high milage SRX, more than 12K, his cluch and chassis are at the end on the road. I'd guess your sled is worth 1500 or maybe less, might be better off parting it out.

Just bought a 99 SRX at the beginning of this year . It had 20,000 km on it . Paid 1700.00 canadian so 1500.00 US is about right .
Good Luck ;)!

No major replacements done on the SRX, it still has the original track with 192 studs with only one being pulled out. Just your typical regular maintainance like the speedo side bearing and some other wheel bearings and regularly cleaning the powervalves. oh, and he did get a used pair of skis to replace the originals.
