Throttle Position Switch

Can you adjust the throttle position switch on a viper....will it make any difference in the timing

Actuallly I'm very curious on this issue aswell...I just installed a new one..and
want to make sure its fine...I was told when you slightly twist it when its loose
you'll notice either a change in idle...or RPM difference...I just wanna make sure
I did it right...and have the machine calibrated correctly...
