Hey guys, im making a new wiring harness for my 80 Yamaha SRX440 (prob the same for any sled though), I will be racing this sled so I don't need any power from the lighting coil or any related wire, headlight, tailight, etc... Can I keep the voltage regulator off as well? anyone else done this? will i run into any problems bypassing this system? thanks in advance guys.......Rob
dont quote me on this but only the voltage from the lighting is regulated not to pop the bulbs....I think it will be fine....anyone else 2nd this???

The voltage regulators are for lights and accessories. I've run a few sleds with bad regulators and they ran fine, just couldn't see too well at night.
