yeah it was for sale right off of 31.my buddy seen it & called me because he remembered when i ran it up north in boonville.
 
Mike, I used simichrome to buff my chassis and it has held up extremely well. We have some tubes of it over at our shop.

Eric, the Apex already has like 980 miles on it but by no means is it slow. I do not think it will get much faster though. How many miles does your Aoex have?

Wow very nice stable 2000srx. I only wish i could go outside and say i think today i'm going to take this one. I been reading alot about your 2000 srx and the machines you have raced this year with it. I have a 1999 SRX and i new srx's were fast, the first time i radared it i got a 110.5mph this year then i raced a stock 2005 ZR900, he got the jump but i caught up to him and i could not beleive it so i wanted to race him again so this time i made sure that we took off at the same time and i was a few sled lenghts ahead and my roomate could not beleive it and thought there was something wrong with the ZR900. Then 2 weeks ago we came up to some guys radaring a RX1 with a Bender superchager 138mph( He is a member on this site, i can't remember his user name ) Apex with a turbo 133mph and a MachZ1000 on nNOS 133mph. My Roomate says take yours for a run and i told him these guys are running 130's and i'm going to run a measley 110 and then i said what the heck so i ran and got a 118.5, i was shaking when i got off the machine and couldn't believe it. Since our sleds are so close in speed what is the setup on your 2000srx? Sorry for being long winded i am still amazed at my sled, and thinking it wouldn't take much to get it to 120mph which is all i want and i know a speed track would do it but i like trail riding, got any suggestions? have you thought about getting your over the 120mph with out the speed track?

I believe that If I took my sled out on pure Ice right now, I would be able to get it over the 120 mph mark. Like I said though, I have never taken it out on ice because I have never had the opportunity. As for getting your sled over, the only thing I can recommend is that your sled is htting the right RPM's. You may also consider getting some porting done to your sled. Lastly, you could gear it to go over 120.
 
The 118.5 was on pure ice about 1500 to 2000 feet. I have been thinking about porting or big boring this summer, but don't know which way to go and would like opions. (that will be a new post when i'm ready) Which way would you go? porting or big bore/ i see alot of guys selling their big bores which scares me.

And that black SRX is :bling: ! My brother is trying to come up something new to his ´00 longtravel 700 SRX, and that colour is it!

And about that 800 V4, love to see another one running good. Too many people think that those old 800´s can´t run. LOL

Well I was trying to decide if I was going to get the GT next year and you guys helped make up my mind! I have a Viper now and the GT next to it in my opinion looks way better than the Viper.

than the stock looking red viper, yes. than your viper, I dunno. hard to add accesories that look good to the GT. silver would look good. hard to make it look different than everyone elses and still look good.
