I'm looking for Power Inc's website so I can get some info on their pipes but a search turns up nothing, if anyone can clue me in I would appreciate it. Also what are your opinions for these pipes on a 700MM compared to Bender and SLP. What rpm do they make their power, how loud are they compared to others, set-up ease, any and all help needed.

They no longer make sled pipes. They are great pipes, I ran both types of PI pipes. Maxdlx

What about gas mileage with pipes, does it go in the toilet?

Center dumps
There center dumps rock too. One huge advantage of the center dump is the low RPM that the make peak power at. Like 8150 rpm or so. These are great trail pipes, but if you want to port they are not the pipes for you. If you want to just do the headgasket mod, read spacers, then these pipes rock. I have an 01 VVmax deluxe and it runs with a stock 98 SRX. Of course the SRX is more responsive at 5000 RPM, but It will run right with it.

Mileage
I don't notice much difference in mileage over the srx. I know that a friends 600 vmax twin uses as much gas with his wife driving it as my 01 Vmax does with me driving it.

What about noise with the pipes, I assume the center dumps are quieter than the ends?

The PI end dumps are crazy loud. It sounds really good from afar. In my opinion they are the the best choice of pipe for the triples just due to the fact that they give the best HP gain.

noise
THe end dumps have just 3 stingers on them they are very loud. The center dumps have the same stingers, but since they are center dumps they are very quiet. WHen it is idling it sounds like you have a set of pipes on, not really loud, but once your going you nor anyone else really notices it. I have an srx with a bender cold air kit , with a partial gutted box and it is louder from the cockpit than the vmax with the center dumps. The power inc end dumps are great pipes though, just not a trail pipe. I think they make their peak power around 8300-8500. If your going to port your motor, then you don't want the center dumps.

How much HP are we talking about on the center dumps?
