So far my 02 Viper runs really good. I did a track upgrade and added the SRX torque link. The sled pulls hard, it has outran a MXZ 800 on a lake and runs good against my mildly modded Vmax-4.
Should I leave well enough alone or try a helix tweak? Considering the stock is a 47 I was looking at trying a 49/45 or a 51/45. Has anyone tried these and what were your results? I've heard mixed results with the 53/43 so I'm considering a little less helix.
Thanks,
Ken

Mine runs strong too. I beat most 800 twins. I did not have any luck with multi angle helixes. I run the stock 47 deg. w/ Heavy Hitters.

Thanks for the reply. I did a search and didn't find too many who seemed to have good results. What helixes have you tried?
Has anyone ever tried a mild change, like a 49/47 or a 50/46?
Thanks,
Ken

I guess it would be a safe assumption that no one has tried a mild helix upgrade on their Viper?

running a 53/43 green secondary spring, seems to do pretty good!!
I can run with f-7 side by side until 65mph.Always wondered, though it might be dropping off,cuz we hit that mark and he jus tpulls and pulls on away from me.
