Well to start with I finally heard from the place I sent my Ohlins to be fixed,a month and a half later, and the final price I got shipped back to me in New Brunswick is $302 Canadian!!!!!! I sent them out to have the oil and seals changed plus a new shaft installed, that I provided allready paid for,to replace a bent one.Now I know that this kind of work is different than say engine parts or the like requiring some sort of special training to know how to tune shock valving as well as the tools needed but how long can it take to take a set of shock apart and replace seals, oil and nitrogen? And yes I know Ohlins are expensive to do to start with but that much?I used this place as its in Canada and figured it would be easier
well live and learn.I wish I had gotten the info for B-tech sooner or just sneaked the shocks across the border and sent them to Pioneer ,I only live about 30 miles from Maine.Even with the difference in the money I think I'd have been in money not to mention having them back alot sooner.
There now I feel better for getting that off my chest.

i paid 225 us for one shock but that was a new canister and top body on a 46prx and seals. it was 200 for teh parts and 25 for the labor. and my shock was the rear race longtravle version a $2000 shock at the time. i know the shaft for my center shocks cost $75 so even with a full rebuild and shaft should ahve only been around 115 plus say 50 for laybor so u shouldnt ahev paied over 200 even if it too them over 2 hrs to do it. theres nuttin to a shock tehy can be rebuilt in around 20 mins. hardest part is getting the pluger out past the little clip ring i think u got riped off like srx600guy said have then justify it.
you were screwed
custom sled and cycle can do them. they are set up through carvers.
