looking for feedback,
been having a bog in powder with my newly piped viper, works great on trail and good for a minute in powder then it bogs, it will clear itself out once i get back on trail or let it sit for a minute or two , could it be powder coming in thrugh the front vents and cooling off the pipes? would that cause it to bog? Any mountain riders with bender triples on their viper, if so are you doing anything with your vents?
Also i did not remove the shelves in the airbox based on some posts here, could that be my problem?

It seems to be the exhaust plugging up, mountain vipes seem to be a bit better probably because they sit a bit higher or float over the snow instead of plowing through it like the shortys.

you could have snow around the exhaust or getting in the airbox, however, if all you do is pull out on hardpack and the problem goes away, without touching anything else, I would think that the clutches are overshifting in the powder and lugging the engine acting like a bog.

It doesn't seem to be a clutching issue. You'll notice if you get stuck it'll barely have enough power to turn the track, next time you get stuck try digging out the exhaust and you'll notice a big difference.
