Are a 97 XTC 600 and a 00 Vmax 700 front heat exchanger interchangable?
I tried looking up the part numbers on the Yamy web site but the diagrams for the 600 don't even show a front mounted exchanger.
Any help appreciated.

Heat exchanger
I think I have the heat exchanger you need. It came out of a 97 Mountain Max that was a 600 twin. I could e-mail you photo's if you are interested. I would be willing to sell it to you for $80 shipped. It is all removed from the bulk head, cleaned up and ready to go. Let me know if you are interested.

you are correct, they dont show up except in the shop repair manuals. $80.00 is a good deel for a good one. I had to buy a new one this year for $300.00
