Got clutch tools

From Rich who got them from maxxperf. The first thing I learned is that the center to center on my sled is not correct, since the tool wouldn't slide in place.. My question here is, how critical is this for the acceleration of my sled, which by the way is terrible now?

Second, how do I measure the offset? I have the tool but there was no instruction for use??? Please help?

it does have affect on acceleration! and you would wear your belt down faster.. maybe this helps..
