I wondered how to get my speedometer to be half accurate and some guys on here told me to knock off one tooth on the speedo cog. Well I did it and I finally got to clock sled on gps yesterday. Exactly dead on. But now it seems like I'm going slower because speedo is reading so much lower.

Just figured I would let you guys know that it really works and I would recommend it to anyone.

I think it all depends on conditions, the viper track likes to spin alot. Last year side by side with my xc and my friends viper we both reach the same top end on a run at 110mph . When it come down to it i think all machines are off a little and why take a tooth off i like seing higher readings on my speedo than lower ones !

I was watching from around 15mph up and it seemed dead on for me. I was not picking up to fast either so not getting much if any track spin.
