When experimenting with secondary helix and spring combinations, how do you determine what twist is right? What should I be looking for?

lets say you start out with 60 and you pin it on a hard snow trail your tach shoots up to 82 and climbs to 85 thats good right now if you pull off the trail and run the deeper snow on the side of a lake there should be no noticable differance in revs if you stay at the same throttle range.if it was to drop you would need more twist to keep the belt from dropping into high gear or the bottom of the secondery as easy as it is.if it seems to rev higher and is at 80 or 90 it should be dropped to 70 or 60.radar runs or higher speeds it is nice to keep it as soft as possable without bogging.drag racing or hard trail running would need more twist so you can have qwicker throttle responace when comeing of a jump or corner or when you track becomes hooked up after spinning.that is why one clutch setup is good for one guy but not as good for another.

Thanks bluewho. You explained that well.
