I have a local mechanic around my home here that is REALLY good with yamaha snowmobiles. I know everyone has one of these type of guys around them also. If you dont you probably are one yourself. I have been running Amsoil interceptor in my stock 02 srx all year. I completley ruined all 3 powervalves at 2700 miles this year. I also ruined 3 using yamalube the year before in a shorter period of time. After running it another 675 miles on my last trip I decided to pull them myself and just "clean them up" and put them back in. Well they were FILTHY in just that short period of time. My local mechanic is TRYING his hardest to get me to try out the PV oil made by a certain "GREEN" manufacturer. Has anyone used this stuff ? My oil pump is in spec per yamaha and everything else checks out. This is my 3rd year with this machine and I LOVE IT.
I have 8700 miles on the odmeter in the 3 years to prove it. I just hate these PV issues I seem to have with it every year. It seems like I just keep
Thanks for the help
