A friend of mine wants to take his SRX 700 (121 inch track) and convert it to mountain sled (136 inch track). He was thinking of getting a mountain or venture suspension and put in in his SRX with a inch and a half paddles and maybe some rear ohlins.

What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks.

I just did my 02 viper from 121*.9 to 136*1.75,I used a SLP rail extention and SLP Tunnel ext. bought the track on Ebay all for under 500$USD. I kept stock gears, sprockets. I am very pleased and I think it looks good and very economical for my tight budget! HUGE difference in powder and going UP Hills.

Do you have a link where I can find the slp parts?

i did my xt with tracks usa parts and my buddys with slp . go with the tracks usa you get the extensions that allow longer sliders while the slp just place the rear axle further back the other ones look way more sturdy

The tracksusa extensions rock. We did an extension of a 97 sx with the tracksusa extensions and maxx perf tunnel extension and hose covers, worked awesome. Used a camo 136 connected cone predator, great all around track.

did my 02 Viper 136 x 1-1/2 tracks usa ext. LOVE IT but want MORE!
BUT it sure is not a mountain sled!!
really want to change to 144 x 16 x 2 paddle
set back the suspension and go with 8" big wheels?
