Hey everyone,
I purchased a 2000 SRX with 1,100 miles on it. Soon the riding for the season will be over. Before I put the sled away for the summer, what are the must do items that I should focus on. Since I am the second owner of the sled, I have no knowledge as to what type of maintaince the prior owner did to the machine. All I know is that he always ran Amsoil Dominator oil in it and prem gas in it. So what should I do, and how do I do it? What about the anti-freeze? What about the brake fluid? What should I clean/lube? Please give me step by step info as to what I should focus on. Also how do I store the sled the proper way? Should I drain all the gas out? Any ideas or tips would be great.

Thak you,
Zack

this is for the summer storage of your machine.....(just a baseline)

1. stabilize the fuel (whats left in the tank)...2.start the machine, be sure to fog the motor thoroughly (spray directly into airbox to carburator opening continuously alternating from one cylinder to the next..back and forth..until almost killing the motor.....should use at least half a can...and then eventually spray till the motor completely dies) 3. I use bombardier lube from the ski doo shop to spray the entire exterior of the motor, pipe, (everything under the hood)...this keeps everything looking like new.....4. remove drive belt 5. loosten track till it droops. 5. spray all shocks, bushings, and joints with remaining fog oil......6. grease enitre chasis....7. store in cool dry covered invironment......(this is a short list off the top of my head)
