Hey everyone,
So what kind of 2 stroke oil are you running in your SRX's? My 2000 with 1,100 has always been run on Amsoil Dominator 2 Stroke oil. The guy I got the sled from claims that Dominator is by far the best oil on the market, and he would use nothing else. What are your feelings? Should I just stick with the Dominator oil at this point?

Thanks,
Zack

you may want to switch to Amsoil interseptor..it will help keep your PV's a
little cleaner...great oil....

That's interesting, I figured that the Dominator was better than the Interceptor oil. The Amsoil guy claims that Dominator is the top of the line. Can I switch oil after the sled has only been run on Dominator?

The dominator oil is kinda for racing conditions hight rpm's, with moded
motors a little thicker oil...go with the interceptor.... just run the old oil
down low to a safe level then start adding the new...

i run "shell advance snow ultra" synthetic in my srx700, sxr700 and 89 phazer and havn't blown a motor since switching. i tune them pretty close to the brink too and am confident that had i been running plain yamalube i would have blown some motors by now. the shell runs very clean. my power valves are never dirty and all the internals are very clean when i've ever taken things apart. i've never had any experience with anything else but just my 2 cents.

Go with Blue Marble. You're going to find that there are many opinions on this subject it could really get quite deep. I haven't checked my pv's yet this season but I do notice alot less smoke and oder as compared to yamalube.

oil

Anyone try APV oil for cats? Any luck. I have had BAD valves afetr useing Amsoil Interceptor and Yamalube
