early 90's indy 650 for watercross?

Good, the Indy chassis is really good for water, theyre liek boats. Just take all the guages out, seat, everything you dont need, so you can sell it off and get some money for it.

Im personally looking for an old beater 500 or 400 Indy to run water with in the summer, they do preety good, even the 400's, plus, I wouldnt feel the least bit bad sinking it, which is what I like!
 
My XLT's and my buddies indy 650 were all incredible on water, just as hammer said they are like boats.
 
Its not the same, its just so wild to have a sled run water, plus, PWC's are expensive.

When I go camping, im going to bring a sled in the back of a truck in the middle of summer and everyone will be saying "WTF", hahhaa.

Me and my buddy are running water on his 92 polaris indy 500 and im going to get it on video, ill put it on putfile and you will see how well these POS's do on water, its amazing
 
Don't buy an RXL. I had a 1993 and it was junk. I bought it brand new (I've bought 6 new Polaris', and after 5 blew up I changed to Yamaha and haven't looked back).
They had 2 year warranties back then and this is what went wrong in the 2 years I had it.
-Crankshaft seizure
-Computer failed
-Seat fell apart
-Rear suspension
-Entire Exhaust System
-Lighting coil
-Coolant line fell off brake caliper, anti-freeze all over my leg and boot.
