Hey all,
I was just up north in Parry Sound from the 18-20th.
Pretty good trails still, some bare spots, but all in all good riding.
Lakes were glare ice with patches of snow. Just enough to keep the sliders cool.

The 96 studs that I put in my track worked incredibly well. I will never go without studs again. My bro's Doo was all over the place. 360's left and right. Nothing you can do about it, even at low speed. Any slight turn sent it spinning.

Here are some videos:

Brakes on with studs.

Doo spinning and sliding. From a standstill it took such a long time to get going, even when trying not to spin. Any slight turn while on the ice made for a fun/scarry time, especailly while at a good speed.

Just thought I'd share. To anyone considering studding, it's worth it!

Hey I was just up there 17-19th at my Grandparents cottage near Orrville with my dad and my brother. We went out Saturday morning and the trails were amazing. I was suprised how much snow was still there since all we have is green grass at home 3 hours away.
