I have a 98' SRX and was wondering what everyone is running for gearing? Is a 20 tooth driven gear [drive gear is stock] too small?
depends what you put on bottom I would think around 21-40 would be good for 660.
yes or 39 -20 1.95 ratio has worked out fine in 660 feet..
20-39 work's great for 500 ft I would go 21-40 or 21-39

I've just worked on the stock clutching till the rpms hold 8300-8400, would I be gaining anything by going to an after market helix? If so what should I go with? I use it for occasional 660ft drags but mostly for trails.
