the viper i am parting out has a studded camoplast predator track in it the track is the cone or finger style track whichever one it is called it is the one with the little knob things and my 02 viper has a lug style track in it so i was wondering if the camoplast came stock in some 02 vipers or did they all have the lug style track because i want to know if the camoplast track is stock or not

camoplast isn't stock. didn't put camoplast on the viper until 04. the stock 02 track is a yokohama .92"

the 03 vipers came with the conical lug camoplast track.model # 9855.about $325 new.used $200
02 viper were the yoko .92".better track then the 9855 unless your on packed trails.

yea i agree that conical lug track pretty much sucks in conditions that are even somewhat loose. Okay on the hardpack but not a very versatile track. And yes they came stock on the '03s. The 02s had the yoko .92

yep 1st year also in the rx-1.think camoplast made yamaha a deal they couldnt refuse.
