Compression Ratio

I have been wrong today so many times already, once more won't change much. Can someone verify these numbers and the calculations?

I believe the MM has a bore of 70.5mm and a stroke of 59.6mm with a stock head chamber of 23.8 cc. Using these numbers, if I did the math right, the compression ratio is 9.77:1. The SRX has a bore of 69mm and a stroke of 62mm with a stock head chamber of 26cc for a compression ratio of 8.91:1.

SXR not SRX. If the math is right, both the SXR and MM700 should be the same because they use the same non power valve 698 triple.

SXR is an 01 (my error). Someone told me the engines have a diff ratio. The reason why I ask is because last weekend my buddy, his son and my son were in a horrific crash where his MM was destroyed and his SXR was badly damaged (no one was hurt or killed which is still unbelievable). So he is trying to salvage whatever he can to make an MM out of the SXR. The SXR engine sounds a whole lot different than the MM for some reason (stock).

I also seem to remember mountain sled ratios being a little different way back when, but maybe not.
