We own 2 02 vipers, both with a little over 3000 miles on them. On one of them the brake almost goes to the bar but still stops the sled, there is about 1/2 of an inch between the brake lever and the hand grip. on the other sled the brake is fine with about an inch of space... any ideas why the brake might go so far to the handlebars? any solutions? Also when the brake lever gets to a certain point it seems to work but then feels "spongy" and it's kinda shady to rely on if your not use to it like coming from one sled to the other... Thanks

Nope not low at all, when i took the brake cap off to sand it down and polish it, the fluid was right there under the little rubber guard thing...

are the brake levers adjusted the same distance from the bar? they are adjustable in travel.

How are your brake pads? did you top up the fluid due to the fact that it was getting low? If so chances are that your pads are wore and you should get new ones. Other than that I'm not much help.

Bleed the air out of the system. Same process as doing your car/truck.

also check your brake line, could be weak and buldging under pressure, just my 2 cents

the sled has a rubber line on it which expands under pressure, after time it gets worse, that makes it mushy, also, change the fluid, again after time/heat the fluid goes away, drain it, bleed it with fresh and it will come back, as long as the hose is good.
