Has anyone ran polaris weights in their srxs? I'm just wondering because I was surfing the other day and I noticed Goodwin made a kit that allows polaris weights to be run in yamaha clutches. Curious to see what people have to say.

You need to run conversion pins & the mass is not adjustable. They also basically come in 2 gram increments so it is harder to fine tune.

I had 4.5 in both holes but now I lightened the tip to 2.7, I'm running my secondary at 50 degrees with the best results. The 8bu-10s have been the fastest for what I'm trying to accomplish. I figured I'd try the tips a little lighter for the hell of it. If you don't try new sh** you won't get faster right!!

Deek.
I have a set of those Goodwin pin kits, tried a set of EPI "belly buster" wieghts. Like Turk said , lack of adjustability, could never seem to get them just right. Have you tried 8dn-00.

NO, probably not. When i pulled the drive shaft out to change the track the axle bearing on the cultch side fell out in peices. Chewed up the end shaft a bit and put a groove around it. Dropped it off at the machine shop this morning to be welded and machined but i haven't heard back from them yet. I have been calling like every five minutes but still no answer. I can't believe i didn't feel a vibration. I used an NTN bearing probably should of used a stock Yamaha one.
Good luck tomorrow, make the blue crew proud!!!!!!
