I think I'm going to install all the stuff in my sig since I can get it to sell has a package and I have been convinced that my viper with 3400 miles still has some life left in her
I'll be installing this summer, I have the clutch kit that was used previously and worked well so I should be close there, my main worry is not blowing her up! Here is my plan
Jets:
165 main
47.5 Pilot
needle at 3
tempaflow will be set to full rich, I'll disconnect the elbow that goes below the shelf, this will richen it up further, and I'll also block the Fix CAI vents temporily while I tune.
First will be 6000 rpm for 10 seconds and stop by hitting the kill switch and not letting the rrr's drop
Check plugs, note EGT and continue
Next step will be 8000 rpm for 10 seconds stop the same as above
Check plugs and note EGT
Next step will be full throttle for 5 seconds
Check plugs, note EGT
I'm anticipating VERY rich so I will un plug the CAI kit first and do the same thing, still rich connect the elbow on the tempaflow as it will add more vaccumn and repeat, lastly if still rich I'll adjust tempaflow to dot and CCW if need be.
This sound OK? EGT warning will be set at 1250, the previous piped owner set it there on his viper and worked great for 1000 miles.
Also what plug color should I be looking for? Golden brown like this year or black being rich to get through the timing spike at 8500?
Mods will be:
Modded head
Opticool
Rear exchanger
Fix CAI (adds +one size to mains)
Tempaflow
Thanks guys!

As long as the plugs are card board brown to darker at all posistions you should be alright. You can always turn on the carb heat to go up 1 more jet size to be shure. Maxdlx
