I have stock skis from an 2003 rx-1 mountain. they are very similar...

They are 5.5 inches in width and are almost identical to MM skis except for the mounting braket. They look the same too just newer.

I put my rx1 skis on my 97 mountain max and were night and day better than the stock ones. My buddies have 00 and 01mm's and all they do is throw snow in your face but with the rx1mtn skis it doesn't happen any more, Ken.

i finds the mm skis nicer than the rx-1 skis

those skis arent wide enough.
You should get some 05 or newer mountain skis, with the deep keel they rock on the trail and in the deep stuff they are wider on top so you get great flotation.
