if my footrest and rear heat exchangers are getting warm does it mean there is no air in the system and that coolant is circulating properly? the reason i ask is that i had a coolant leak (dripping from left hand side footrest h/ex) i topped it up and went for a ride for about an hour, checked it again --no leak!! coolant level is still full. when i stop the engine i could hear gurgiling in the system. do i need to bleed and how?

First I would try to find the leak!!!
Then after you fix that you remove the seat the bolts are in the rear storage compartment.
lift the rear of the sled(it has to be higher than the coolant resivor) then with the sled running loosen the bleed screw in the back of the sled and let the air out do this til it is just straight coolant coming out no air bubbles!!
Good luck
