Can I tune a sled on a stand with the parking brake used to provide load during this spring? I realize it would be hard on the brake but I plan on on replaceing the pad anyway. I have the tempaflow so in theory if I tune in 50 degree weather it should be OK next winter or at least be close enough that I can go and fine tune over the course of time and not worry about blowing it up?
I just want to run 10 seconds a time at different RPMS, then shut down check plugs, etc.
What do you think?

I Have Done That For Years......but With Out The Parking Brake.

If you are tuning it to drag race, stand tuning is fine. Don't need to use the brake.
If you are shooting for trail tuning, you would be a lot closer by simply following other people's notes with a similar setup. Then tune from there in the winter.

We'll I'll just jet from SLP specs and go up one size on the main for that damn CAI I have on there (came with the sled) and they just upped the mian jet one size for it from stock. I'm just a little worried about the pilot jet size but I guess I'll install it all button it up and tune it when we have snow, if that ever happens again.
