found a killer deal on ebay...NEW 05 rage, 0 miles, is mine for the taking for $5275.
wife won't even hear me out on the deal....
should I pull the trigger on the sled deal and see if she gets over it?????

I'm scared.
 

just go ahead and buy it the worse that could happen is she divorces u then it would only be the most expensive sled u ever bought

yea she will just devorce you? That will cost you WAY more than the deal on the sled. Really, I don't thing the above statement is a option. Tell her more about the sled and give up somthing or get her somthing to offset it. Good luck. I hope you get what you want.

That's funny my buddy just called before and told me about that sled
 
You guys really worry about it. I buy it then explain it. Remember she'll get 1/2 of it in a divorce. LOL Maxdlx

To put it this way, i payed more for my 02 viper in norway... (everything is expensive here..)

I would have bought it without even thinking about it..

a new rage costs about 17000$ here, everything included (plates and registration) :( the gouvernment wants around 4-5k just for registration (plates) witch are required by law here :(

Buy it, and send it to me? :D :D

I didn't win, but was offered a second chance because the winner took a different sled....this was a dealership.
 
Lie. Just outright lie. Tell her you found it. That worked once for me with a set of golf clubs. "Honest honey, they were laying on the highway." Or just don't tell her. Back in the early 90's, I had to keep buying black sleds so my wife wouln't know I bought new ones. Maybe this is one of these power issues. If thats the case buy it and rub her nose in it, just to let her know who wears the pants. If you go this route, make sure that 1/2 is enough. Good luck.
 
Why exactly do wifes care about what we buy,(if your smart about it). When I get something new my fiance is happy I have something to do other then bother her!! I will keep buying blue because she says it's pretty, lol!

If you can swing the sled deal without causing you financial hardship, or without using funds that both of you agreed on for something else or is partly hers, go for it. Try to explain it the best you can, but at the end of the day it is your decision.

Note: Be sure that it is not a scam.
