I have stock -00 model srx and jetting is now 150 - 148.8 - 148.8 Can I go leaner for trail use.
And how about racing? For 660-1000 ft Temperature -5c = 23 f

I jetted down my 01 and it made a huge difference. I know I would be careful with anything below Zero F with my jetting, but down to that the plugs look good.
Sounds like your sled has the 01 specs in it which is good, The 00's where slightly leaner. I would not stray to far from where you are at, there where alot of burn down complaints on the 00 in real cold temps.

Yeah I don't think I would go any lower than where it's at.

DUDE, THOSE ARE 2001 SPEC,s, 2000 STOCK JETTING WAS 147.5-146.3-146.3!! NOT A BAD THING, 2001 JETTING WORKS REAL GOOD. 3:16 (tony)

00,s were jetted lean & had some burndowns. Run the 01 jetting. The Yammie triples like fuel & you gain nothing except an expensive rebuild bill by jetting em down.

I am going to have to go look at what I did. I know I wrote it down in my service manual. I have run it this way 2 seasons now, But I know it's jetted down from what it came stock (01)
