should be 130-135hpwith a single pipe and 140hp with twins.... I bet that XT or XTC big bore was not a kit built by hauck or bender, the sled N/A makes 95-100hp so a 10hp jump doesn't sound right..

i don't believe 140 sounds very reasonable. i mean look at the 700 triples with pipes (non-powervalved and powervalved) unless it is a pretty radical setup, i say the numbers are a tad lower. ( i could be wrong, just sayin they sound high) however, as nytro said, pumpin it up that high your gonna need to go through and secure it all down. weld and true crank, torque arms on the beast, check motor mounts, center to centers, etc. twins are known to be "a girls best friend" (aka, vibratin son-of-a-guns!!!) i'd do some research into it a bit more before ownin up the coin...

Thanx for the input..I have built alot of different sleds..V-Max4's ,Vipers,SRX's etc...Just trying something different. I know the old 600 twin chassis are pretty much light..But right off the bat I would strip @ 25lbs off the sled between light ski's take the gauges out etc...If I could get @ 140 hp in a 450lb sled or lighter it should run..What about 40 or 44 tmx carbs ?? That should help...It would just be a lake racer but thats what I'am lokking for anyway...

the 700 twin i saw wasn't a hauck or bender. hp numbers were very low, not very impressive.

Just look at stock yam 500 vs 600 you can get a good idea of what you see with a 700.
Yamaha added 100cc, window pistons, new reeds, timing and larger carbs, picked up 10hp (88hp 500, 98hp 600).
The best twin pipes on the 600 only picked up another 10hp to 108hp.
So add another 100cc, 2mm to the carbs and porting...
IMO maybe 20hp gain at best. I would say 120~125hp would be very good for that 600/700, and not easy to get to that.

I had a 600 XTC w/ a Hauck 700 big bore in it w/ AAEN pipes. Not only was it not impressive but it detonated and blew up in about 500 miles. JUNK. I called Hauck about it and his response was
